ObscurityWorks is a lot of things, but I really like the Dutch word "makerij" if I'm pushed into picking a single term. Because it's just literally "the place where things are made". It usually translates to workshop or factory, but that literal version fits SO well with what ObscurityWorks is.

It's a nebulous place that exists wherever I and those I work with make stuff. Which means if you're on board, it is also where YOU make stuff. What kind of stuff? Imaginary stuff, digital stuff, physical stuff, useful stuff, useless stuff.

At some point, I hope to sell some of the stuff. I'd like for this to be one of the ways I keep myself busy after I'm done with my software career while also supplementing retirement savings with a little bit of income.

Oh, and the "I" and "me" are J Wynia, a middle-aged dude in Minnesota. My lifelong friend Aaron joins me most Sundays as we make the stuff.
